We were happy with reception desk. All were kind and helpful. It is possible to buy some drinks and snack which is very fine especially in the evening. No shops close there opened in the evening. The price-performance ratio in this hotel is completely OK. Breakfasts were also fine, salty and sweet, hot and cold variants, drinks.

The location was really good. Everything is in walking distance. There is a magnificent scenery from the restaurant. Staff is very polite and helpful, front desk officer speaks english fluently. Talking about room facilities I can say that all necessary items are provides, clean and cozy. Overal my stay was very nice in this hotel.

Having stayed at the "Istanbul Golden City Hotel" for the first time, I can confidently say it's very easy to reach. It's perfect for any type of trip, whether with friends or family. Everything works flawlessly, and you don’t need to waste time searching for other hotels. The location is ideal, and the service is excellent. This is the perfect hotel for a comfortable and stress-free stay in Istanbul!

Beautiful view on Istanbul from the windows in the room. Very simple room but very efficient - stayed only one night and everything was clean, comfy bed and welcoming and helpful staff ☺️ Right on the main road but can’t hear the traffic at night and convenient for taxi drop off and pick up.

Location is perfect! Fascinating views, very convenient in terms of public transportation (metro, tram, buses, ferries) and access to cafes/restaurants, the area in general is very safe. Hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating, all our requests were resolved almost immediately. Breakfast was very nice and included some traditional food (simit, menemen, Turkish tea and desserts).

Although the street itself isn't nice at all, the location is well connected to many forms of public transport, including the famous funicular, which brings you up, near Galata tower. The view from roof terace is very nice.

Great views across the city from room as well as from the rooftop bar where we had breakfast. Rooms were kept clean with plenty of towels and toiletries free to use
