Highly recommend this hotel for solo travellers. Great location for visiting Istanbul for the first time. Walking distance to major attractions and great restaurants. The hosts are extremely kind and efficient. They really make you feel like home.

Breakfast was fine, especially given the views available and I enjoyed the food options. We were advised as to some issues with plumbing but they did not materialise; better to be informed. Desk staff very helpful and accommodating.

The room was quite nice - the furniture was romantic (not typical hotel room furniture), the lighting was very cozy (always important to me, there were several table lamps in the room), the size of the room was nothing special but there was room to move around. It felt like the wall color of both the room and the hotel corridors had been updated, because while the walls are usually scrubbed in hotels, here they were all nice white, with a fresh impression, polite and it added a lot to the overall picture, it was rather clean and pleasant to be in. The bathroom was a decent size, hot water came as soon as you turned on the tap and the water pressure was very good! The air conditioning worked properly, but the ventilation was probably not sufficient, because when we got to the hotel room in the evening, the room was always stuffy, we immediately opened the window to get some air. The breakfast was okay, from previous comments I got the impression that it was something extraordinary, unfortunately I can't confirm that, but we got full and there was a choice. The breakfast was very Turkish - salads that were unfamiliar to us (e.g. a combination like marinated boiled potatoes, spices, parsley, etc.) but every morning there was also scrambled eggs, cheese, bread, breakfast cereals, yogurt, jam, honey, peanut butter and fruit and various sweet cakes. The hotel restaurant was friendly and helpful, especially kind and smiling was the man at breakfast server. The location of the hotel was very good - the port, the Grand Bazaar, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace and the Blue Mosque were all within walking distance. There were many street vendors, restaurants and bars around the hotel, nothing to complain about.

The location was absolutely perfect as it was just a 5-minute walk to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. The quaint neighborhood has fun to explore with little shops and restaurants. The hotel was very clean, the staff was friendly, and the breakfast was very good. We would definitely stay here again.

The breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold foods. It is served on the terrace which offers beautiful views of the city. The staff assisting at breakfast were very friendly and helpful, especially Yusuf. The staff at reception were always pleasant and accommodating. Moustafa was very helpful when we checked out and we were waiting for the taxi.

The location is great, in an area full of restaurants and shops and 5 mins walk from Blue Mosque. The hotel is very safe. Reception staff are attentive and monitoring everyone coming and going. Its a small hotel and very friendly. Breakfast is really good and in summer is on the roof terrace. There is an elevator. Rooms are very comfortable.
