Second visit after 15 years, good quality and hospitality (every staff, kind, helpful and knowledgeable) of the hotel is the same or better! Breakfast at the roomtop area with the sea view, and well prepared and very tasty Turkish style breakfast.

The staff were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble and they thought of our needs even before we did. The hotel is decorated traditionally and located in the old town very close to Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque and Haga Sophia.

The location for this hotel is fantastic for exploring the historical centre of Istanbul. The staff are very helpful and an apple tea on arrival is very welcome. The breakfast is absolutely delicious - the choice is great, with variations daily and the scrambled egg is the best I have ever eaten in a hotel. The rooms are comfortable and compact and the WiFi signal good. The restaurants nearby are expensive compared with eating on the Asian side, and the nearer you are the the Blue Mosque the higher the price. We were given a very good recommendation by the staff for a place with great food nearby. We would really recommend staying here and it is great value for money

It was close to all attractions, friendliness of the staff. The front reception was very welcoming and helped to book taxis at 3 a.m in the morning for check out.

The staff were welcoming and friendly. We wanted a traditional Turkish experience and got it. Well located. The hotel has plenty of charm and would recommend to others.

A really nice traditional hotel. Very good breakfast in top floor roof terrace with superb views over the sea approach to the Bosphorus. Friendly efficient staff. Double glazing meant we were not disturbed by the Muslim call to prayer. Close to the Blue Mosque and a short walk to Aghia Sofia. Comfortable beds. Environmentally friendly drinking water supply. Excellent value for money

It’s a quaint old hotel, a bit old fashioned but quite charming. Great location, loved the rooftop terrace where breakfast is served; good place for evening drinks too! Staff are very friendly & helpful

I really loved the staff - they were so kind and warm - they just really looked after us in all sorts of little ways - an especial shout out to Ilhan Murat Gunter and the cleaning ladies (I apologise for not remembering your names) - the decor was stunning in a traditional ottoman style with crafted interiors - the rooftop breakfast with views over the Bosphorus was stunning - with a great choice of healthy and naughty food - location was terrific - close to the blue mosque and Topkapi palace
