To all those who say that sulthanamet is too touristic i reply that although it is true it is the only area with heritage wooden hotels with elevators and where the restaurants on the top floor offer spectacular views. Being the second time in the city we we skept the most famous monuments, we rented a car and we toured the whole city and i must say that the chance of parking next to the hotel (private service) and having the advantage of the eurasian tunnel at short distance away and the total lack of traffic along the shore in this area confirmed the good choice. The breakfast on the top floor is incredible with any weather, i love that the buffet changes every day. The rooms are in ottoman style and give the tourist that atmosphere of other times that makes the difference. The beds are extremely soft and comfortable. Despite inflation, the hotel rates are low, the staff is always very kind. We are very satisfied

Our stay in this hotel was superb, the location is in the heart of the old city center right after the Blue Mosque. Room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was something to look forward to every morning with traditional Turkish food like olives but also with something new every day. Enjoying the fantastic food and a glass of traditional çay from the roof top terrace giving panoramic view of Blue Mosque and the Sea was a great way to start a day in Istanbul.

Location was great, quiet spot but very close to bars, restaurants and all of the key sights in the old town; Aya Spohia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Cistern Basillica etc also only short walk to Sultanahmet tram station.

All the staff was very helpful even before we arrived giving us useful information and help for the planning of our trip and also during our stay. The location was very central and quiet at the same time and the hotel was clean and cosy. Great view from the terrace where the breakfast was served. Very comfortable bed and pillows. The breakfast was mainly local and had less variety of european style but had some really tasty dishes.

Great hotel in an ideal location within the old town and easy walking distance for visiting all the main tourist attractions. The staff were very helpful and we looked forward to a lovely breakfast overlooking the rooftops and the Bosporous every morning. I would thoroughly recommend.

The hotel has a fantastic location, right in the middle of the old town and within a few minute walk to some of the main sights. The tram stop is also nearby, for those places that are farther away - very convenient since taxis take forever with the heavy traffic seen most of the time. The hotel has a very charming boutique atmosphere, with bedrooms decorated in local style. We asked for a family room and received two adjoining/interconnected bedrooms, which was very convenient. Great breakfast on the rooftop terrace with Turkish and international cuisine offerings, and a gorgeous view of the Marmara sea. There is a "restaurant" street right next to the hotel, with lots of different places to check out. Very friendly and helpful staff. We had a great stay and highly recommend this hotel.

This is my second stay at this hotel. The location is just perfect- close to many touristic places, so many good restaurants around. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Irfan and Ismail will answer all your questions and will recommend the best way to fulfil your agenda.
