“Wonderful stay in a cosy boutique hotel”

The location was amazing, right in the heart of Sultanahmet and a short walk to the main historical sights and plenty of loacl restuarants near by. It feels more like a cosy homestay rather than a hotel (it has about 8 rooms I believe) and the lovely owners make you feel very welcomed and right at home. They were also really helpful in answering all our questions and gave us plenty of reccommendations for eating out and local sights. My son is dairy intolerant as well (which we said when trhey asked if we had any dietary requirements upon check in) and the next morning they provided oat milk for him which was a really nice and unexpected! The family room was more than adequate in size for our family of 5 (3 adults and 2 children). Breakfast was good and plentiful and as long as you are not expecting a large hotel style buffet (which you shouldnt as its a small boutique hotel) its great and and nice fresh coffee too!

Perfect location for exploring Sultanahmet, and a really friendly and helpful team, who were happy to give us advice and helped make our stay in Istanbul fantastic! We had lovely breakfasts, and really comfortable beds. The rooms were quiet, which was a pleasant surprise for such a central location. Thank you to everyone at Ahmet Efendi Evi!
