Family hotel with access to a beautiful beach and amazing see! That was the place where we had best swim in the island. The balcony where breakfast was served were both stunning

Nice little hotel by the sea on non windy side of the island. Very friendly staff. Bar by the pool for cold drinks and delicious ceviche.

Hotel La Joya is a hidden gem, with the most glorious sunsets and ocean views from every room in the southern part of Isla Mujeres. We loved the authentic Mexican feel of the property and decor. What makes this property extra special though was both Oswaldo and Hector who so lovingly take care of the property, the hotel, and the guests needs. This is a very special place because of them. We were so comfortable in our room and you cannot beat the location. You are within walking distance to a bunch of very cool and delicious restaurants, cool shops, beach clubs, and a quick taxi to town, or jump on the local bus that comes every half hour for 20 pesos ($1 US) - great way to see the island and experience some locals. This was our first time on Isla Mujeres and we were blown away by its beauty, the spectacular beaches, the delicious fresh food everywhere we went, the safety of the island, and the friendliness of the people. We LOVED avsolutely everything about it!

Highly exceeded my expectations. Perfect and calm location, amazing view, a "you can make it private" kinda white sandy beach in 50 meters, direct access to the Caribbean Sea, continuous 2-for-1 coctails with a qualified cocktail guy, small bar next to the pool. It's a wow place.
