All things as advertised: basic, no frills amenities, at a price that is good value when the convenience of location is taken into account. Staff was patient with my halting language abilities.

Central location near train and bus stations. Shops and bars nearby. Friendly helpful staff at reception as we had bikes to store overnight. Room was basic but comfortable. Shower was hot and powerful.

Basic, but staff were friendly, the facilities were clean and the beds were comfortable. I was almost put off by the reviews, but it was fine for what I needed it for - somewhere with a later check in and close to the Camino starting point.

Great value for 2 people, a little expensive for what it is as a solo traveller. Friendly staff; the small breakfast available to purchase is convenient.

We stayed there for one night before we started walking on the Camino del Norte. The staff was really helpful and nice! We had a good night and Pension Bowling is close to the train station so we didn’t had to walk long when we arrived in Irun in the evening
