Lovely hotel in an old character building. Room was clean and well presented. Food was very good and better than expected. Price for stay was very good and good value for money.

Breakfast was really good, staff are friendly and have great recommendations. Accommodating and helpful both in the restaurant and also in the main hotel. Easy to access (ramp available) but steep steps.

Beautiful hotel overlooking the river. Short walk to the town and iron bridge, Food was lovely in the restaurant. Staff friendly and helpful.

The meat sausages and bacon were good. Stunning location with gardens and riverside setting close to fascinating places to visit. Preservation of some historical architecture is great. Tiles are stunning. Most of staff very friendly and helpful particularly Mel. Excellent value evening meal with very good vegan choices. Comfortable bed. Free WiFi.
