Based on local tax laws, Peruvian citizens (and foreigners staying more than 59 days in Peru) must pay an additional fee of 18%. To be exempt from this 18% additional fee (IVA), a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented.Please note both documents are required for fee exemption. Guests who are not able to present both documents will be required to pay the fee.Foreign business travellers who require a printed invoice, will also be charged the additional 18% regardless of the length of their stay in Peru. This fee is not automatically calculated in the total costs for the reservation.Payment before arrival via bank transfer is required. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions.

Very nice and friendly Guesthouse close to the tourustic center. Staff was very friendly. Rooms and House in an old colonial style. And we could leave our lugage in that place while have been on our tour in the amazonas

My needs were met. Beautiful, spacious room with a kitchenette. Any request I had was responded to by the helpful staff. Nice pool. There is even an inhouse cat that elevates the athmosphere.

The rooms are huge and have air con. The bathroom was also spacious with a good sized shower. The staff both at reception and in the breakfast room were friendly and helpful and the receptionists had good English. Someone is on duty 24 hours and there was no problem booking me a taxi at 4.14am to get to the airport. The area outside the hotel is nicely done and there was a clear police presence ensuring none of the issues that have been previously commented on.

This is a fantastic place to stay, a step back in history. Well restored, quirky. We stayed twice, at the start and end of our jungle trip. Huge rooms, refreshing pool, interesting library, good air conditioning, helpful sweet staff, laundry not available at hotel but very near by. A really special experience and great value for money.

The room was the biggest I have ever stayed in. The staff were extremely helpful - they allowed us to check in very early, even though we were quite happy to leave our baggage and explore the area before checking in. The pool was an added bonus - cool and quiet, a great place to chill out and escape the noise of Iquitos.
