The fine print
From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted.

This is the 2nd visit to this hotel . Once enter can felt the relax and comfortable , room design different with others standard hotel deco , amenities nice smell n good to use , fast check in process , friendly staff ..

The room and the beds were comfortable. We had a wonderful massage for a good price and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Everywhere in the hotel smells very nice and it feels luxurious.

This is more like a hybrid of homestay and hotel. So while the place is cosy and quiet with no large crowds and more attentive staff, it lacks the usual hotel facilities. We like the many different room types available. And they do have in-house spa

The service from the staff is very good , the hotel is clean and beautiful , the room is very nice , the smell is very good , like entering the spa and i really love the spa smell 🥰 my children also love it 🥰👍🏼

I really had a wonderful stay at Sojourn Ipoh. No complaints at all. It absolutely met all my expectations! All staff we met from front desk to housekeeping to just anyone we came across in uniform were friendly and polite. The rooms are restful. My friend said there should be a white light option for applying makeup as warm light is not as good. Loved all the different spaces for just reading, having a cup of tea or just being quiet. Enjoyed the roof garden as well. We could not figure out the 2 remote controls in the room but it did not matter cos we preferred good conversation. When the front desk staff explained to us during check-out, we had a good laugh. We are happy not to have the TV on. Loved the spa on level 1 where we went every evening during our stay. Wonderful treatments and service. Will recommend. Ate one meal at Mama Kim's and it was delicious. Also the complimentary cookies and candy - yummy. Location-wise, we tried walking to town which we did once but realised Ipoh is not a walking city. We used GRAB most days and had a private driver for one day.

Very clean room and bathroom, rainfall shower. Comfortable bed. Good aircon. Water provided in refillable glass bottles. No kettle, coffee or tea in the room, but there were 2 lounges on our floor with hot & cold water dispensers, teabags (no coffee) and armchairs. Very nice spa in the hotel - we enjoyed our massages and facials. Soothing lemongrass scent in the lobby & spa. Pleasant staff, especially Miss Iman - thank you. There’s a restaurant, Mama Kim’s, off the lobby that serves healthy/vegetarian meals. It was packed st dinner time.
