Full payment for all bookings will be charged at the time of booking. All major credit & debit cards are accepted excluding American Express.All bookings will include a temporary membership fee per person per night. (Full, existing members of Hostelling Scotland and HI using these channels are not entitled to a membership refund).Individual reservations (Up to 9 persons) - can cancel free of charge until 7 days before the arrival date. If cancelled within the 7 days before the arrival 100 percent of the total price will be charged.Groups reservations (more than 9 persons) - different policies and additional supplements will apply. More than 8 weeks (57 days or more) 20% of total cost. 8 – 4 weeks (56- 29 days) 55% of total cost. 4 – 0 weeks (28 - 0 day) 100% of total cost.No stag or hen parties are permitted at any youth hostel.Should guests be entitled to a refund or part refund please note that these are processed by Hostelling Scotland National Office, Stirling. It may take 7 to 10 working days from the date of cancellation request for the refund to be processed back onto the original card used.Parties with children under 12 years will only be accommodated in private rooms, where available. Hostelling Scotland advises that additional notice be given to the destination youth hostel when travelling with children, to ensure that suitable accommodation is available.There is no capacity for extra beds or cots.Check-in from 16.00 to 22.00 and check-out is until 10.00.Reception is closed from 22.00-08.00.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.

I loved the welcoming vibe from the reception staff, their communication was excellent and the cleaning staff member who cleaned my room (108) was such a nice person. The entrance to the hostel is exceptional. The communal dining area is a wee bit dated but perfectly functional. The kitchen was great and had absolutely everything you needed to cook with (and more!). The rooms, on the nights I have stayed, were super quiet and the showers were incredible. I was very impressed to see the free shower gel, washing up liquid and even free coffee! Thank you all for another lovely stay 🙂

The room was comfortable and clean. It was super secure and felt like home away from home. The kitchen was clean and had all the required utensils to cook home food.

The place is warm, quiet, clean and comfortable. Option to use the communal kitchen. Big supermarket 10 minutes walk. Good price.

Everything was as expected. The room was comfy and the bathroom was clean. The kitchen was very important for us and we liked a lot, especially because it was clean (probably because of the kitchen karma that plays an important role), large and very organized. We’re very happy that we chose this hostel for our holiday!

The staff has been amazing, they gave me useful advice on exploring the area. The one bed room I stayed in was amazing and cosy. I really appreciate the cleanliness of the hostel and the amazing breakfast.
