Hotel Overview

The centrally located Heathmount Hotel is 10 minutes’ walk from Inverness Castle, and offers Scottish whisky, Illy coffee and freshly mixed cocktails in its 2 contrasting bars. With free parking and WiFi, Heathmount Hotel also serves a high-quality restaurant menu, including a full range of breakfasts.
Each guest room includes a flat-screen TV, desk, iPod dock and tea and coffee facilities. Bathrooms have a bath or shower, with a hairdryer, bathrobes and luxury toiletries supplied.
A traditional Scottish breakfast is cooked to order along with a choice of juice,cereals, porridge and a range of other cooked options including bacon and sausage rolls is available to select from our breakfast menu.
The Heathmount restaurant offers dishes including Scottish beef and venison pie, and chicken stuffed with haggis in a whisky sauce. There are also vegetarian choices and a lunchtime menu including the popular macaroni cheese made with Orkney cheddar. Our restaurant is open daily for lunch and dinner. During January 2025, it will be closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
Inverness Train Station is within a 10-minute walk, as are the town’s museum and art gallery and Inverness Golf Club. The Eden Court Theatre is around 20 minutes away, on the opposite bank of the River Ness.

Situated right at the top of the hotel, boasting a coombed ceiling, this loft room with low ceilings has a king-size bed and a digital wet-room shower. We would not recommend this room if you are of tall stature.

Double Room with Four Poster Bed - enter dates to see room photos

This room has a four-poster double bed and a desk with tea/coffee making facilities and a TV. The en-suite facilities include complimentary toiletries and a hairdryer.

Luxury Double or Twin Room - enter dates to see room photos

This luxury room is available in double or twin options and features a power shower. If bed preference is not selected this room will be set as a double.

Family Room - enter dates to see room photos

This is a family room suitable for 2 adults and 2 children, with a large walk-in shower. Available as 1 super king bed and 2 single beds when booked for 2 adults and 2 children. THE SMALLER SINGLE BEDS are ONLY SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN. THIS ROOM CANNOT BE USED FOR 2 ADULTS IN SEPARATE BEDS.
