Hotel Overview

This grand hotel has a great location in the heart of Inverness, yet in a quiet area with splendid views of the River Ness and Inverness Castle.
Inside its historic exterior, the Columba Hotel houses bright, airy rooms. Each has a TV with satellite channels and facilities for making tea and coffee.
The hotel's décor combines traditional comfort with contemporary style and amenities. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the building.

The room was a standard double room. The linen and rooms were clean and tidy. The hotel was close to a Tesco, so that was great. It's not a long walk from the train station and restaurants and it's situated right on the River Ness which makes for a nice walk. The breakfast buffet was great and I had what was essentially a full Scottish breakfast.

We used to stay here often years ago. The location is great, and the price is okay. Great that it is dog friendly, and the lovely staff watched the dog and allowed us to eat breakfast as they were not allowed in the breakfast room. That was fine, though he was quite happy.

The view from the room was super. Beds were very comfortable. Meal in the bar was superb. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.

The location was just amazing When we 1st got there our room key didn’t work so for the inconvenience they upgraded us to a suite it was stunning Breakfast was unreal too

The hotel situated in the heart of Inverness within walking distance from all the shops and city centre highlights. The staff were pleasant and helpful, the bed was comfortable and food was delicious

It was perfect for our overnight stop in inverness, before we travelled on to Skye the hotel is in the centre of inverness well situated and there was a lot in the hotel there was a bar on street front and to the rear there was a restaurant. Due to onward travels we didn't get a chance to use ether but as busy and looked very nice from what we seen.
