We love the location of the apartment and it has plenty of space for my family, not to mention the breathtaking view surrounding the apartment. The Kitchen is big enough to cook our meals and we had a great bonding time whipping up dishes for our dinners. A good way to experience living like the locals.

Property (Krokus - double storey house good for 6pax) is very clean, warm, cosy and has a fully equipped Kitchen. Lake behind property is very beautiful. Owner Matt was very responsive and helpful. Location is very good, has a small supermarket just outside property and 3 supermarkets (Migro, Coop and Avec) a short walk away near Interlaken West train station. Our transfer from Interlaken West to Zermatt was hassle free even with luggage in tow. Free transport bus pass was given as well, transfer via free bus to Interlaken OST to explore Junfraujoch and Mount First was easy. Highly recommended to stay here!

The location was better than expected. A short walk from the market area - multiple restaurants & convenience stores. It is also a 15 min walk from the station. Quiet and very pleasant.

While it’s not exactly a stone’s throw from the Interlaken West Station, that’s exactly what makes the location of the apartment ideal. Quiet at nights with a convenience store not more than 15m from the house. Not too far from the station and the main shopping belt of Interlaken. The apartment we took was a duplex with big rooms and comfortable beds. There was a huge dining area and a well equipped kitchen. Highly recommend the apartment! Matt Horn and Family upkeeps the apartment well!

Matt responded promptly on any queries and was constantly updating on the room status. The chalet was cosy, well cleaned up and stuff was arranged neatly before we were allowed to check in. Loved the kitchenette as everything was provided for.

Information on how to access the property only became clear when we arrived at 4pm. Until that time we were unaware that we could just walk in the gate, find a note, and walk into our chalet - no code, lock box, etc for us to worry about finding. The Chalet was delightful - 3 rooms, 2 bathrooms, plenty of space, warm and comfortable, with cow bells ringing in the neighbouring property. The train/bus station was a 5 minute walk away, the guest card gave us access to local transport, and Interlaken is well placed for travel to tourist spots in the Jungfrau region and beyond (we went on day trips by train to Zermatt, Montreux, Stanserhorn).

City Chalet was exceptional! We booked 4 apartments for our guests for our wedding. Everyone loved the apartments, they were the perfect size and great for such a big group of people. The hosts were incredible, they kept us up to date and provided great information. We can't thank them enough!

Location was excellent - right near the West station where all the buses left from, which we utilised our entire trip. It was also in a very nice part of town, right next to the river, so you feel like you got the proper Interlaken experience. House was very clean. Hosts were super responsive. 2 bathrooms both with toilets was super helpful for us, as we were travelling with friends not family.

Hosts were extremely helpful and prompt in addressing our questions and needs. The chalet was spacious enough for a large group to stay in, and the location was considered close to Interlaken West train station. Kitchen was also well equipped, with large sharing dishes.
