Stayed here after doing Yorkshire 3 Peaks - good location once finished and walk. Free car parking. Arrived at 5pm - easy check in. Bar / restaurant was rammed - luckily we’d reserved a table for dinner. Room was nice in the attic with everything you need. Shower was poor and floor was rotten where shower leaked. Dinner was exceptional - lovely food. Breakfast was slow. Brought toast out, 20mins before breakfast and butter was ice cold! Quite expensive; however did the job and would stay again.

Unfortunately our room was above the boiler room, so it was a little noisy. We had dinner in the pub, good job we booked a table as it was very busy.

The actual history of the Marston Arms is fascinating, the building has some of the original features I think, good food, good atmosphere, friendly helpful staff

Location handy and close to the party we were attending. Wi-Fi worked well. plenty of car parking space and dog friendly. Cute welcome packs for the dog but £20 extra a night per dog.

The charm of the place, built in 1679, and it still had all the old features, including the four poster bed.
