The cottage is located in woods and beside a pond. It’s perfect for an escape. Very clean, nice beds and a well-furnished bathroom are quite pleasant for visitors who have traveled a long distance.

the studio loft appeared to be newly built, wood throughout the whole loft, very cozy and clean. quiet surrounding and felt very private. lots of cute touches in the loft and art! it was a great place to unwind after a long day of travel and hiking.

Staying at Rumi in the King Room felt a little like staying in an aristocrat's dacha. The room was huge; the size of many bedrooms in stately homes, with enough room to dance in front of the fire after sipping after dinner brandy. The bed was also the biggest double bed we've ever seen; probably enough for a family of five, and the mattress did not show any disturbance when your other half got in or out. Bedlamps on tables on either side of bed. The decor was serene, the several pieces of artwork around the room were superb; the bathroom included a hot tub spa bath and a shower that had a full length mirror on one side. There was another large mirror above the sink. Towels were of the finest quality. The room had wooden floors, warm to walk on, with a large carpet in front of a (n electric?) fireplace and rugs around the bed for warmth. There was good heating in both main room and bathroom. The room included two couches, a chair, small glass table and a beautifully painted wooden cupboard on which the owner had placed two wine/ champagne glasses, a bottle opener and fabric coasters. There was an ottoman bench at the foot of the bed, and a small fridge. Tissues, soap and shampoo were supplied. One wall of the room consisted of double french doors made of glass and wood, and leading onto a wooden seating area facing a lake and woods. We were invited to use the huge kitchen to make coffee tea or toast, with milk and cream in the fridge. There was an enormous array of plates, mugs, cups and glasses and cutlery. The owner required guests simply to put all dirty kitchenware in a dishwasher which he would turn on when full or each night. In the hallway between the room and the kitchen there was beautiful and artwork along the walls and resting on tables, and two packed bookcases full of many excellent novels and nonfiction books, and many in particular relating to travel.

The bed was very comfortable. I loved the ensuite bath and private patio. There was beautiful scenery on the property

Beautiful stay on the East Side of the Cabot Trail in Indian Brook in Cape Breton at the very end of September. We were in the Loft Studio - it had been recently renovated with pine walls and floor - clean and lovely - lots of amenities, with a small kitchen area/sink. We were there only one night but would recommend 2 nights just to relax and explore the area. We went to a Caleigh in Baddeck in the evening (it was amazing!) and left the next morning to hike a bit on the Cabot Trail and continue over to the West side, stopping first for breakfast at the Clucking Hen Bakery and Cafe on the way (yummy breakfast and we bought pastries for on the road), just a minute or two from Rumi House. The beds were very comfortable with lots of pillows and blankets, and it was quiet, with only a car once in a while on the nearby road, which was cushioned by trees. Owner was quick to respond to messages and answered all of our questions before we arrived.

Rose cottage was cosy and comfortable- good heating whoch was appreciated, as it was only a high of 6 degrees during our stay. Kitchenette was well equipped. Colourful, quirky decor. Quiet location despite being near the road. Host sent details of all nearby eateries a few days before, which was very helpful. The host told us about the beavers that visited from the lake in the evening, which was a novelty for us Aussies!

Jalal was a perfect host. He said there was a good chance that we would see beavers on the lake in the evening . We were not disappointed in fact we saw 4 at close quarters. Wonderful. A perfect place to relax. Good facilities for preparing breakfast and drinks. Thoroughly recommend the Rumi.

The owner was waiting for us at the entrance, very kind and careful. The atmosphere is marvelous and the space is really well maintained, cozy and welcoming.

This accommodation has big sized rooms. There is a very good equipped bathroom. Everything is done with love...the host is warm and greatful. You have access to fully equipped kitchen.
