The folks at Inari Mobile Cabins are some of the most hospitable, warm and friendly guys we have met at any of our stays. The dinner was absolutely brilliant. The service was unmatched. The concept is truly unique. We were given a couples cabin which was self sufficient with heating. Post dinner, a snowmobile hauled the cabin with us in it to the middle of the Inari lake. We were left there in the wilderness for the night to witness an amazing aurora show. Early morning haul back to a wonderful hotel style breakfast. The stay and experience was the highlight on our Finland itinerary.

This is unique type of accommodation we have ever stayed. Being dragged on top of the frozen lake and experiencing northan light without going out in freezing cold is a bliss.

We stayed 2 nights. We liked the originality of the stay and the host were very kind. It’s a unique experience to sleep on the lake. Sadly we were not far from the main cottage, I thought they would have brought us further on the frozen lake.

The shared facilities were very good and clean. The cabin was very comfortable overnight. Because there were only us staying we had the lake to ourselves. We enjoyed the walk into the main town.

If you want to get a true Lapland feel then this is the place to go. It’s a little off grid but the cabins were cosy and clean. The facilities outside the cabin were great. Loved the bbq real Finnish feel. The kids loved being towed out to the lake. It was a one off experience that we really enjoyed.

First of all the concept in itself is great to put a cabin in the middle of the lake and watch the northern lights. The hosts are wonderful and their willingness to share their knowledge is great for the stay.

Absolutely loved our stay here, was definitely a highlight of our Finland holiday. Lodge facilities were excellent, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Loved our cabin which was bigger than imagined, plenty of room for suitcases under the bed. Loved the experience of being towed out onto the ice for the evening, it was beautiful. Really enjoyed the wood sauna and coming out and jumping in the snow. Atte & Alexa are wonderful hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Went cross country skiing for the first time and Alexa was a great teacher. We had dinner in the grill hut on the first night which was excellent. Took a bottle of wine with us which made it just perfect.
