A wonderful little hotel with marvellous staff, the food was exquisite, the apple tart stealing the show. One night, by ourselves in the hotel, the table was set up next to the chimney, scattered with rose petals for a truly unforgettable experience. Bearing in mind we're a gay couple, we were astounded. The hospitality was faultless! The room had amazing views down the valley.

The terraced gardens and pool area are absolutely stunning with views across the surrounding valleys and mountains. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and made us an early breakfast for our departure. A beautifully peaceful and tranquil spot.

Hassan the manager was a delight, charming and helpful. The views across the mountain valley from the dining terrace straight towards the sunset were stunning. So sad the cascades have been dry for a few years now but our boys had a swim in the natural pools below the hotel. The hotel has an old faded charm and we were the only people staying but it is clean, lush gardens to walk around, friendly and had aircon in the bedroom and a lovely clean swimming pool. Easy to find, I was worried but the mountain roads are pretty ok, slightly narrow but have tarmac, we were in a little Toyota Yaris hire car and it was fine.

This hotel is a remnant from the better times, and it is still kept up in dignity, although I don't think they're having as many guests as before - we were the only guests besides one French family, which was really a sad thing to see. We practically had the whole hotel to ourselves. The staff - friendly, welcoming, polite and absolutely accommodating - couldn't have asked for more. The hotel has an amazing view from the balconies of the room and the breakfast/dinner terrace, overlooking the valley. The rooms are old, but well maintained, with large balconies. The dinner option is available on the premises of the hotel, and I recommend you get it - for a 3-course dinner, 13 euros is a steal. There are nice Moroccan wines available to complement your food. Breakfast was simple but good enough to set one up for a day. All in all, it's a good value stay, although you could feel some sadness looking at the former glories of this place...

Everything was superb, the hotel may have lots of 1970s charm and facilities but this only adds to the experience. The staff were extremely helpful and lovely. The food was delicious. The garden lush, verdant and full of colour. The pool area was so relaxing and beautiful fresh water. The views and local walks were the highlight of our Moroccan trip. Dont think twice about traveling further into the mountains past the 'paradise valley" then you will actually find paradise! We are so grateful to all the staff for making this part of our trip so unforgettable

The hotel is a nice hideaway and the view from the terrace is really stunning!!! We really enjoyed having breakfast and dinner on that terrace as the panoramic view is amazing - you can't imagine a better place to watch the sunset. Hossein (I hope I have spelled your name correctly) and the other staff members were really friendly. We did some hikes and started directly from the hotel. That was very good. All in all, the 4 nights at Hotel des Cascades were the perfect start for our Marocco trip.
