Everything! From all the staff who are not only kind and helpful, but have a very nice sense of humour to spice up your day, to the gorgeous views over the Atlas mountains. Comfortable and warm rooms (warmer than a 4 stars Riad we stayed in Marrakesh). Mohamed helped us with everything we needed, going beyond the expected.

Berber family lodge has become our most favourite place in Morocco. The view from the terrace is gorgeous! This place is beyond anything I could imagine. The attention to details to decorate the common spaces in the lodge is very much noticeable. The hospitality was amazing too. We had both lunch and dinner in the property which is till now the best moroccan tajin we had. It takes a little hike from the bridge to reach the lodge and there are several unmarked hiking areas in the area if you like to explore the surroundings.

Great place to stay in a very quiet village 3km away from Imlil, amazing views overlooking Toubkal. Comfy rooms and great food. Special thanks to Hassan for looking after us the whole stay!

Amazing place! Incredibly chilled with fantastic views. Rooms were so warm and comfortable, we slept so well after a brilliant hike. Mohamed arranged a guide for us who told us about the Berber history and culture. Hassan took such good care of everyone at the lodge. Food was delicious. Thank you!

We just finished a 5 night stay in berber family lodge and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The views are beautiful, the beds extremely comfy and food delicious. Mohammed was amazing at organising our hikes and transfers and Hassan made sure we were always adequately fed and mint tea-ed. We also really enjoyed the cooking class experience, spending an evening with Mohammed’s lovely family including his mother, sister, wife and daughters! The whole stay was magical and I would recommend it to anyone in a heart beat.

If you are looking for an authentic Moroccan place to stay - this is it!! Staff were lovely, met you where the taxi dropped you & carried bags up the stairs for you! The accommodation is beautiful, room very spacious, comfy and had a balcony - the view in itself is something else! Communal area is super nice, as is the breakfast and dinner which was had at the same time as other guests staying there which made it social! The staff will help you arrange hikes/ taxi/ anything you need! Also great area if you like hiking, or just to get away into the mountains for a night or few!

The views were amazing, staff was extremely friendly and the dinner setting was very cute. You have the chance to meet other travellers. We only stayed for one night, but I definitely recommend staying for two.
