Ilha do Mel is an amazing place for nature lovers, it has such a relaxed vibe and lots of beautiful views. This accommodation is located in the heart of Encantadas and it was perfect for our stay. We chose a room without air conditioning - there was a fan we could use but we found it a bit uncomfortable while sleeping - so if you tend to get hot at nights make sure to book a room with air conditioning. Our room was quite small and due to the location it was hard to keep it clean - but if you visit this island for nature, this probably won't bother you either! The building/camping site was lovely with lots of options to hang out, relax, make food or dry our clothes. Breakfast was good. This place is really authentic and it allows you to have a glance into the local lifestyle; I could definitely get used to it :)
