Diewerke “Beautiful view, but too many mosquitos in the room and no window nets”

The view and gardens were beautiful. It was one of the nicest breakfast views I've ever had. However, we have two areas that stood out as needing improvement. First, the windows of the room and bathroom need mosquito nets. When we entered the room, there were at least 30 mosquitos in the bathroom, and another 20-30 in the bedroom. The windows and doors were wide open, and so we immediately closed them and started an hour-long mosquito swatting exercise. After this, we could no longer open the windows, as anytime we opened the window, more mosquitos would immediately fly in. Nets on the windows are a WHO recommended way to manage mosquitos. But instead, we had to simply sleep in a stuffy, humid (from shower) room without natural ventilation. Second point, the mattress covers were very poorly fitting, and kept sliding off during the night, meaning we ended up sleeping on the bare mattress topper. Not the most hygienic experience.

The location, garden, shared living space were all very good and well maintained. The staff service was great and they are very friendly.

The garden was paradise. Was next to the sea but now swimming, nearby beach very close - 5 minutes. Supermarket in front of the property.
