The hotel is located in a beautiful area, walkable distance to public transport options and tasty sea food restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helped us with everything needed. Parking available in front of the hotel.

Evening meal in restaurant was lovely. Food and drink was excellent. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Bed was very comfortable and room was lovely and warm for the time of year.

This is always my stopover for the Newcastle ferry. Clean, a bit quirky, lovely staff - the perfect stay to turn travel into a mini holiday.

The character of this hotel is fabulous and the staff were a delight. The bedrooms are huge. Breakfast was good value, the dinner menu is great. A much better place than we expected for this location.

The hotel has.a welcoming, warm vibe. , It's full of charm. There was plenty of free parking around the hotel. Just avoid parking under trees... Lots of birds...! . I ate in the hotel restaurant, and the food was very good. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and tidy.
