Inns Overview

With free WiFi and free on street parking, Castle Inn overlooks Saltwood Village Green. The family-run inn offers a traditional pub and restaurant, just 3 minutes from Hythe centre.
The cosy rooms at The Castle Inn feature wooden beds and colourful furnishings, and each has an en suite bathroom with free toiletries. Tea and coffee facilities are also available, and all rooms have a 32-inch TV and hairdryer.
For breakfast guests can help themselves to cereals and fruit juices, as well as a traditional cooked English breakfast (subject to availability). During breakfast guests may admire the countryside views from the dining room. The popular bar has a range of beverages and snacks available, and there is ample outdoor seating.
Just 10 minutes’ drive from the Channel Tunnel Terminal, Castle Inn also offers easy access to Dover Ferry Port. Sene Valley Golf Club is a 5-minute drive away, and Folkestone can be reached in just 10 minutes.

The lovlies copule owns and manages this place, they are just great. From the minute I got through the door I felt welcomed, i got to see the room and choose one. The lady also cooked my food earlier than the restaurant wasbopening which was levely. We had some lovely chats about the vast choice of Caribbean rums. Excellent food.

The Room was very cozy, the bed was comfortable. Elaine and Ian are such kind hosts with a very nice sense of humor. The Food is very delicious, we had very good breakfast and dinner in the beautiful pub. Saltwood is a quite romantic village and it's a short 20 minutes walk to Hythe were you can visit the crypt of St.-Leonard's-Church, take the miniature-train or just enjoy the park or the beach, from where you can see the coast of France.

The bed was really comfortable with a large and a comfy mattress. Fresh milk for making tea/coffee was available from a mini fridge in the corridor which I really appreciated. The staff in the bar downstairs were very friendly and welcoming. We didn't use the restaurant but had a really tasty pint of beer from the bar. I would stay again if in this area.
