Please note that guests will have to climb some stairs in order to reach Theano Guesthouse.Transfer of luggage and guests with a donkey from/to the port is upon charge and request. Guests who wish to use the service, must inform the property at least one day prior to arrival.Guests staying more than 3 nights are offered free transfer upon arrival only from the port to the property, with a donkey. Guests who want to use the service, must inform the property at least one day prior to arrival.To reach the property, please turn left at the church located at the port. Continue straight until you reach the hospital. Take a right turn in the first alleyway and continue straight until you reach the steps, where you turn left and keep straight until you reach the property.Please note that the property is not easily accessible to people with mobility issues and for babies under 2 years of age, due to a high number of steps.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.

I had basic twin room. It was ok for 3 nights. There was a fridge, good WiFi, conditioner. quite clean, staff was okay.

Quiet location tucked away many many stairs from port :). Bright and spacious with high ceilings, very clean and quiet. Friendly staff.

Friendly atmosphere, the guesthouse is located in a very quiet part of the island. There is a store close to the guesthouse. The staff was very kind and ready to help. The room was clean, the Wi-Fi worked excellently (at least in my room), despite the numerous negative comments I had read before my visit. There are quite a lot of stairs to the guesthouse, but when you compare it to the price, that's what makes it affordable.

Well situated and Yoni was a sweetheart! Thank goodness for him since he is the only person who spoke English! The other women were very kind but limited English. But honestly, probably the most affordable place in Hydra so I would stay again!

Best value for money in Hydra. Basic guesthouse with very nice garden. You can bring your own things to have a small breakfast. Kitchen facilities are also available. Location is a bit far from the port. Not easy to go for a breakfast, return and go back again to the beach and then go out again at night. But this is why the price is lower than other guesthouses closer to the port.

Lovely room on a gorgeous island. The walk up is long but is expected from any greek island, uphill with steps. The room was worth it. Helpful staff allowed us to leave our bags after checkout for a couple of hours. Would recommend this guesthouse !
