Such a lovely place. Great location, wonderful balcony and spacious clean and comfy room. Loved the extra snacks and tea / coffee.

The apartment was huge, with 2 bedrooms with ensuites, a fully equipped kitchen and lovely outdoor courtyard area. Yiannis met us at the ferry and helped us with our luggage and explained how everything worked and where to find good restaurants and the supermarket. He and his mum were very friendly and helpful. We were surprised with a generous breakfast and were able to store our luggage safely after checking out. This is a terrific location and it was very clean and comfortable.

Excellent stay, apartment, host and location. Host met us at harbour and personally lead us to apartment. Apartment was provided with breakfast items, each morning fresh bakery etc. The best apartment renting experience I have had. Thank you so much!

Hydras Chromata has been the highlight of our holiday. From the moment we stepped off the ferry we were greeted by Yannis who took us to our accommodation. WOW! The apartment is as stated, clean, spacious with a wonderful view of the surrounding hillside. Yannis orientated us to the apartment and local shops restaurants etc. We were pleasantly surprised to find ample amounts of the little things (milk,jams,honey, margarine, cold water, juice, fresh bread, yoghurt, detergent etc.) that other establishments don’t seem to think about. AND what a lovely lady Yannis’ mum is who took care of our washing. Hydras Chromata is a very short walk in to town where you will find plenty of restaurants ( Niato became a favourite) , gift shops and clothing stores. Sitting down at the marina was wonderful watching yachts and small boats come in and out of the port. Hydras is easy to walk around and explore. The views are amazing!!. I could go on forever. A HUGE THANKYOU TO HYDRAS CHROMATA for welcoming us and making our stay a memory that will last. Hopefully we can return another time and enjoy the hospitality that was shown by you and the people of Hydras

Hydras Chromata is first class accommodation in a great/quiet location. The staff are so helpful having met us at the ferry and helped bring our bags up to the apartment. The apartment is enormous, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was a great surprise. This is one of the few apartments within easy walk of the harbour and near all the best restaurants. Highly recommended. I’d stay again if we were likely to come back to Hydra.

Everything was just perfect. From the arrival at the port, where Yiannis, the host, was waiting for me in front of the ferry and took my bags to the apartment, to the very convenient location, the lovely apartment. A hotel service in an apartment, cleaning every day, fresh bread at the door every morning. My rating goes beyond 10, because the apartment was perfect but the added value was Yiannis, a guy who was super attentive to every need, always available, who works professionally but also from the heart. The best way for guests to experience a dream holiday! If you pass through Hydra, you can't choose a better place to stay!

The property is conveniently located on the first floor, featuring a charming terrace at the entrance with a lovely view of the hillside homes. The apartment is spacious, peaceful, and ideal for a relaxing stay. The hosts were friendly and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Yiannis kindly picked us up from the port and helped with our luggage, while his mother delivered fresh bread to our door each morning—a thoughtful and much-appreciated touch. Although they don’t advertise breakfast, it’s actually included and comes with ham, cheese, juice, and more.

Everything was perfect! fresh bread every morning and lovely breakfast including juice, yoghurt, coffee etc. Thick walls keep the room cool (quiet AC!). Great shower! they supply beach towels. Large patio. we felt so welcomed! highly recommended!
