Big room. Big lofty spaces all around, inner courtyards.

My room was in an annex and clearly had not been planned out properly. The "climb" to the bathroom was arduous. The positioning of the switches was bad. The length of the telephone chord made it difficult to have a normal conversation from the center of the bed.

We had been to the Taj Mahal many years ago and were delighted that in the intervening years the rooms had been renovated and made more comfortable. Years ago there was a more elaborate breakfast menu with fruits, such as fresh papaya, melon etc available. Sadly this was not available anymore.
