Very nice guesthouse with a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. Everything was clean and comfortable, and check-in was very easy. It was the best option of the entire trip.

Very warm welcome from Eva. She showed us around and helped with the coffee. Kitchen and dining facility are excellent, with new appliances and plenty of space for multiple guests to prepare meals. Two large bathrooms meant no long wait. Bedrooms had lots of hanging space and shelving for packs. Our bedroom had direct access via a sliding door to the large outdoor deck.

Sunset views of the fjords from the room. No road or roofs to block the views, just a small grassy patch. Outdoor deck accessible via balcony. Complimentary bread, butter, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and juice. Effective floor heating. No shoes in the house policy. Some hotels in Iceland remove one set of bedding and towel if only one person was staying in a double room. Not here.

A very comfortable stay in a lovely location by the water, with very well equiped kitchen and delightful dining/lounge area. Very easy check in. The huge bathroom with double shower was much appreciated.
