Hotel is beautiful, small and cost and quiet. Yes it’s old and yes there is a lot of needs for renovation (room and bathroom especially) but all works and all is sparkly clean. Hotel inside is renovated in some parts but anyhow this is not something which will destroy your leisure. Kitchen and public toalets are super clean. I don’t like that two pools are not heating during winter. Variety of food is superb and there is no stomach problems. Beach is super big with nice entry to the sea. Sahl Hasheesh walking promenade is beautiful. Proximity of all amenities. All is very close and you can reach everything for 5 mins. Stuff is extremely superb polite and do everything to feel like in home! Hotel is pet friendly which is very rare in Hurghada but pets are located with owners in other part of building which is ok but dogs are very nice and nowhere you can see anything wrong because of them. For me personally just one plus more because of this!

I couldn't imagine how much that hotel is different, special and good. All the team are helpful and make u feel that you are at home. I would like to thank all the team (KITCHEN, MANAGEMENT, CLEANERS, RESERVATIONS, AND THE REST) specially Mr. Ahmed & Mr. Mahmoud Al tayeb. As well Mr. Ramy Mounir from the reservation. At the end, this is the best hotel I have never seen like it before.

1. Location. Sahl Hashees comprises a nice sheltered bay (and also a part of the coast towards north) and the hotel is placed in the best spot for sun and sea. A nicely paved road runs aside the whole bay next to the shore. You can walk or go by bike for 6/7 kms with no traffic except for few golf like e-cart. There is a recently built residential village aside with shops bars and restaurants. You can walk there as well as in nearby resorts along the bay. You don't feel like being secluded or separated from the outer world as it may happen in beach resorts. 2. Quite and comfortable. Only a little entertainment and music thus little noise which is ideal for me. Comfortable rooms albeit some are a bit old dated. Good bedding. Excellent breakfast, a bit less varied are the main meals. 3. Good price quality ratio. I have had the chance to visit some similar resorts nearby and some did not appear to me to be in line with the higher price they requested at the time I have made the booking and have chosen this one. I absolutely recommend this establishment

The hotel may be a little old, but it hasn't lost its charm. The hotel is quit wide so the beach is very wide. You don't lie head to head. There are always free loungers. The lobby, as well as the entire complex itself, is very beautiful. The restaurant too. The food was excellent. But the best thing about the hotel is its staff. Whether in service, or the cleaning staff, or the bar staff, or the restaurant manager, everyone was incredibly nice, helpful and polite. I've never experienced anything like it in my many holidays in Egypt. Thank you! And at the New Year's Eve party, everyone outdid themselves. I've never seen such a lavish dessert buffet. It was simply the best holiday in Egypt so far.

Great location in the bay, directly at the beach. Big swimming pool, smaller heated outside pool. Little shopping street next door, hassle free. Nice promenade walk along the water. There are many dogs!

A big surprise! I booked the hotel based on review about the beach and because of the price. Rooms; yes they are old, but I had a beautiful sunrise view (1314) and Hamdy cleaned it so well every day. Frigde, but you pay if you like them to fill it. Good wardrobe/storage space, good wifi in the rooms, aircon ok, bottled water replenished every day. Sope, shampoo, body lotion in the bath. Beach; perfect beach, sandy and no need for shoes to enter the water. Small reefs right out from the beach, so nice for snorkling. Beach bar and Mina gave a perfect service from 10 am every day. Beach is devided in two; one quite zone with no sellers. There is a beach promenade for ceveral kilometers with just bikes/golf cars; perfect to make the morning/evening walk. Felt safe! Small town Sal Haseesh 3 min walk from property with a few shops and restaurants. Food; I only ate at the buffet, but you get on complimentary dinner at one of the other (italian, brazilian). Nice variety for breakfast, lunch and dinner. At lunch and dinner they barbecued outside, crabs, fish, chicken and more. Huge salat bar, at least 4-6 different main courses. High quality and you could see that the chefs took a pride in the food. Big thanks to Mahmoud for perfect omelet every morning. Service; although I felt that the manager in the restaurant had a leadership style that was more into giving negative feedback, the waiters did a great job. Especially at lunch when we ate outside away from the manager the mood was good, service was personal and Mohamed Ali gave great service! Reception bar; also super service. Tried som premium coctails, about 4 Euro, really good. I found the inclusive wine good! Common areas, toilets, lobby, restaurant; new/more fresh than the rooms

This hotel was a 30 minute drive from the airport, it's cheap enough to book a private transfer about £30 return. Room and bathroom quite dated but clean, bed firm but ok. lovely sea and pool views. Toiletries, Hairdryer, Tea and Coffee facilities in room, small fridge but Mini Bar is an extra charge even if you are A/I no iron in room, plenty of bottled water left every day in the room. Food excellent always plenty of choice and hot, Pool Bar and Beach Bar have afternoon BBQ on alternate days with Burgers, Hot Dogs etc. One buffet restaurant and one Al La Carte with doubled up as an Italian and Buffalo Grill, but this is NOT included in the All Inclusive you have to pay extra. so just one buffet restaurant. Drinks fine but Cocktails not so good, cheap spirits and flavoured syrups. any Fresh Juices and Smoothies are charged and extra $3 even if you are A/I - lots of bottled water available for free. The big pool was freezing, but there is a smaller heated pool and Jacuzzi Pool but only a few jets working. but a nice quiet area with a small pool Bar for drinks and coffee. Plenty of sunbeds and Parasols and everywhere clean. Entertainment was ok, daily programme of activities, Yoga, Aerobics, Darts etc, evening was kiddies show 8.30-9.30 and then a show, most were ok, entertaining and watchable. Beach was great, lots of sunbeds and parasols and only a very short stroll from the hotel. Staff excellent, super friendly and can't do enough for you. there is an ATM you can get Egyptian pounds for tipping, but they will happily accept any currency. Spa treatments generally about £30 each. All in all a nice hotel very clean and a lovely location, with walks along the promenade, cycle, scooter and buggy hire just on the beach. There are much nicer resorts, but this hotel was a lot cheaper than most places in the area. maybe £200-£300 less per person than most of the others I looked at, so for the price I think it is very good value.

The breakfast was good, and it was nice to have warm dishes, making it feel like a brunch. The surroundings were clean, and the staff was friendly. The beds were comfortable as well. Coffee was great.
