The property is situated on a hill that looks out onto Huonville. The place was spotless and the room had a lovely cozy feel to it. John the owner was very friendly and accommodating.

The house had a lot of charm, like its owner Paul :) It was comfortable and clean with amazing views! The pademelons and native geese on the property were lovely to see, along with the chickens and black face sheep.

We enjoyed everything about the House on the Hill. Paul the owner was very hospitable and went over and above to ensure we had comfortable stay. Dinner and breakfast were also amazing.

Our host Paul was very helpful and friendly. The gardens and view from the balcony was beautiful. Loved the walaroos in the garden in the morning.

We enjoyed sitting on the verandah as the sun set, watching as the pademelons came out to feed on the lawn, and looking at the fabulous view of the valley below. Indoors was just as pleasant- heritage decor, a cozy lounge/ breakfast area, and Paul was an excellent host.

The view was breathtaking, our room was comfortable and clean and breakfast was delicious. Paul is a fabulous host, he has a great sense of humour and was happy for a laugh and a chat and to give advice for our travels.

We had a lovely stay. The house is really quite high up in the valley, so the views are superb. The owner was very friendly and clearly wanted us to enjoy our stay (which we did, thanks!).

It is in a magnificent location with amazing views. Host Paul was very welcoming. Loved our bedroom & the private lounge area open to the verandah. Paul catered to our request for a simple continental breakfast which was light, healthy & delicious. thank you.
