Whilst we stayed in the small double room, this was adequate for our 2 night stay. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food good.

A perfectly located, modestly priced hotel/pub/restaurant. The food was fairly middle of the road but the chef responded with extraordinary imagination to our slightly off piste requests and we ate IN on both nights. The breakfast (which was included in the modest price) was huge, made to order from a menu of options, and delicious. The location is perfect for visiting many nearby attractions. You can easily walk to Huntingdon (where the hotels are twice the price) in 10 minutes. The staff were friendly and fun. Utterly unpretentious. Simple and sound
