Great basic hostel with a nice rooftop. Perfect as a stay for hiking around the area. Booked tours with them as well. Cleaning service every day. Would stay there again.

The hostel is run by a very friendly family, which made the atmosphere feel warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The owner speaks excellent English and was incredibly helpful, offering great tips and advice on local attractions and making sure we had everything we needed during our stay. Really nice breakfast was included in the price and provided on the open rooftop with the nice view. Overall, Hostel Lhotse offers great value, excellent hospitality, and a fantastic location. I would definitely stay here again!

We were there for 2 weeks and we really liked it ☺️ Every day you can have breakfast at 7:30 AM. You can book hiking tour directly at accomodation. You can use kitchen which has everything you need. Everything is very clean. Hosting family is very nice and helpful.

I grew up in China and stayed in the USA for several years, traveled in South America during this time. The rooftop has an amazing snow mountain view, I enjoyed staying there for breakfast and the sunset and making new friends there. The kitchen and all the cooking tools are clean as well, while a lot of hostels do not have a clean kitchen. Laundry service is good. I booked the 6-day Huayhuash track, I liked it a lot. I can't ask for a better group to share the experience, even though most of them are doing the 8-day track. We had people from Europe and other English-speaking countries, which is great for socializing since we share English as the common language. Plus, each of us has different interests, like healthcare, passive income, environment, education, and art, I learned a lot from the conversation and might open other opportunities. The tour managed to provide different dishes for each meal and provided vegan and vegetarian options, the Lomo saltado and Aji de Gallina were delicious, so I went to the kitchen and asked for more. The snacks they prepared for each day of hiking were well selected. I loved the chocolate and some fruits, especially the pear, I loved the pear, so mature, soft and sweat.

Great value for money, rooms are basic but very clean and comfortable. Run by a lovely family who can book you on tours. There is free bag storage and they are happy to let you stay in the lounge before a night bus etc which is great.

The owners are very nice and organise a few tours to do in huaraz. The room was clean and provided enough warm blankets. We loved there was real hot water in the shower. The roof terrace was a great place to chill and if you want to cook your own meals, then the kitchen had everything you need. Kitchen was also very clean. Highly recommend this place.

Nice room with good hot water shower in a good location to access everything in Huaraz. There were enough blankets for the bed so we weren’t cold at night. The rooftop terrace is nice. We were able to leave our bags at the accommodation before check in and again after check out when catching overnight buses to/from Lima. We booked a tour to Laguna Paron through the accommodation which worked well.
