Breakfast is phenomenal! Staff is very friendly, Paul is such a helpful person! Everything is clean, beds aren't comfortable. And the rooftop with the mountainview is perfect to relax after a hike!

Great help for organising daytrips and longer treks in the area. Possibility to rent equipment. Everything was super efficient and friendly. Easy to get to meet other trekkers and share experience,. Very homy feeling overall! :)

The team at Caroline were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room was clean, spacious and the shower always had hot water. The atmosphere at the hostel was social and fun. Would highly recommend.

The staff are so friendly and helpful with booking tours and treks. The breakfast was also delicious and catered to GF and vegetarian!

This was one of my favorite hostels in Peru. The family of the hostel is so kind, they are very very helpful and attentive. They prepare yummy breakfast, every day a little bit different, which is special in Peru. Paul speaks like 7 languages and he knows probably everything you want to know around Huaraz.

Love the breakfast here, it was different every morning and they were all delicious. Paul is super helpful, not only he helped me arrange local tours, he is also very knowledgable of the local transportations and nearby hikes so I couldn take public transport and hike on my own. Also very considerate, make sure I have properly acclimatized before doing any hikes. On days that I had to leave early to a tour, I was given bread (basic but still nice) to take with me.

Paul and Anita helpful landlords. Paul attuned to the walks/climbs . Anita repaired my walking boots. She also gave us a lunch roll as we had no supplies as only staying two nights. Good breakfast.

The rooftop terrace had the best view and the kitchen had comfy couches and a great atmosphere. Breakfast was delicous and changing every day, the portions were generous. We were able to socialize during breakfast. It was nice that we could put things in the fridge. Paul made our stay in Huaraz 100% better with his help and suggestions for hikes. He was always able to recommend something for our taste and he patiently answered all our questions. We could book daytrips with him. Location is good, the main square is just a 10-minute walk away. The room was simple but okay.

The staff is very friendly! The rooms have enough space and the showers work great. I especially liked the breakfast, where you sit with a view and get a new bonus treat every day. You get to meet other travelers and get tips from the hosts on activities
