Very nice and quiet place, well equipped kitchen and general cleanliness, Atma hostel feels like home. Lots of tips for exploring and enjoying Huanchaco and nearby locations, plus the Yoga classes bonus! Highly recommended, hope to be back :)

Atma hostel was great, we stayed in a double room with bathroom and it was super clean and comfortable. It’s located near the beach and centre but it’s really quiet. The staff couldn’t do enough and it was great having a chat in Dutch! We wish the owners all the best! Ps the turtle was mesmerising to watch!

It’s a great hostel. Very clean and close to the beach. Nice rooms and friendly workers. It’s very close to the public transport so going to the main city of Trujillo is no problem.

Best hostel we came across in Peru. So cosy that you feel like home. Sometimes you just need to have a good rest in a place like this then you you can carry on with your travels like a champ again. The place is so well organised and cosy with all attention to the details for your comfort. Very healthy vibe in there. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The owner is awesome dude putting his heart and effort in to this place, making sure that we have great experience and good stay.

Atma is the best hostel I have ever stayed in. Staff is very nice and friendly, everything is clean and organized, rooms are very comfortable and the hostel has a lot of common areas that are charming and make you feel at home. Location super close to the beach, full equiped kitchen, coffee and tea offered in the mornings, and also towels are provided. To make it even better, an amazing yoga studio with everyday classes and a nice space for storing surfboards and wetsuits. I felt like every little detail was thought with much care and definitely will come back.

Truly one of the best hostels I stayed in my whole life - and trust me, I've stayed in quite a few;) From the amazingly friendly team who always tried to accomodate my wishes to the bestvhostel kitchen I've ever seen to the little details and peoole who made me feel like home.

Where do I start? As soon as you enter ATMA there is such a definite chilled 'surf' vibe, with the entrance area nicely organised and well thought out to accommodate the surf guests. The outdoor plants instantly give a homely feel before entering the reception area. Fabulous dining/ outdoor areas, a well equipped kitchen, super comfortable bed - THE BEST mattress/ pillow I've experienced in my travels :) zzzzzz The yoga classes were amazing and on Sunday the group cooked Tacos and 18 guests all sat and dined together. A real community vibe! Big shout out to Diego and Daniel for your friendly and welcoming vibes, you really made my stay :)

Yoga classes everyday, nice atmosphere in the hostel, friendly staff, I booked for 2 nights, ending up spending 7 nights, many areas to hang out, hot water in the showers, the turtle in the backyard
