The fine print
Please note all children from 6 to 11 years are charged TWD 600 per person per night when using existing beds. This rate includes breakfast fee, pillows, quilt and no extra bed.Starting from July 1, 2022, the meal types (breakfast, lunch, banquet) will be fully changed to vegetarian. And hotel will not proactively provide disposable necessities for promoting sustainable development.

Nothing stood out in particular but it is a perfectly fine and affordable hotel in Hualien. Hotel staff was very nice and helpful and there is a spacious lounge area where you can relax if you have some time to kill. The location of the hotel is OK. It’s not walking distance from the train station, but then again it’s very easy to get a taxi to get around. I rented a scooter to get from Hualien to Taroko, but you can also take a train or book a taxi. It’s about 30 minutes away. Next time I visit Hualien I’d probably book this hotel again.
