The owner was super friendly and helpful. We were able to store our bags before and after check-in/out, which made exploring Hualien so easy. The room was exactly as pictured and super clean. Would recommend!

Very helpful staff, sharing useful tips and managing the communication in English via WhatsApp. Clean room and good location - the seaside, the night markets and many restaurants are walking distance.

Great themed modern hotel. The guy behind reception was amazing, so friendly and helpful. Great location. Reception maned just in the day but if you need him he is only a WhatsApp message away. Rooms were clean and also the bathroom

Spotlessly clean accommodation with entertainingly kitsch decor in the rooms. very friendly and helpful host and staff. best coffee I have had in Taiwan in two weeks. we parked our car right outside

Everything. I had an extremely comfortable stay and my room had everything I needed and was super clean. The host was really friendly and informative. I would definitely stay at 1999 B&B again.

It was a cute, little B and B and yet the room was also spacious. The host was lovely too. Location seemed fairly decent - near enough to the water and famous night market. If you wanted closer to the water then this probably would not be for you, but was great for me.
