Apartment Hotel Overview

Located on the beachfront at Horseshoe Bay Beach on Magnetic Island, Sunsets Resort offers rooms with ocean views from your balcony. The property features an outdoor swimming pool, free parking and free DVD hire.
Magnetic Sunsets Resort is a 13-minute drive from Magnetic Island Golf Course and a 10-minute drive from Nelly Bay Harbour and Magnetic Island Marina. Bookings for the ferry terminal can be made by the hotel front desk.
All rooms feature balconies with ocean views and feature fully equipped kitchens and laundry facilities. A flat-screen TV and DVD player are standard in each room.
The tour desk can arrange a variety of activities, including tours of Magnetic Island, The Great Barrier Reef, jet-ski tours and fishing trips. Guests are welcome to enjoy the manicured lawn and recreation area which includes barbecue facilities. Wireless internet is available at a charge.

Great location. Loved waking up and walking over to the beach, then grabbing a coffee before coming back to the apartments pool for a refreshing swim. Everything in a convenient location, apartment was spacious and clean and tidy. Very family friendly as everything is within walking distance. The pool has toddler friendly splash area as well and good shade at different times.

I really loved my stay here, firstly the location is its big draw card! I saw a possum, wallabies, a couple of rogue kangaroos, and the curlews all from the balcony! The apartment was very neat and tidy inside! The kitchen was well equipped with all you need to do cooking and preparing meals.

Location and amount of space in the apartment. Lift access was also a bonus for the third floor.
