The staff is excellent. Wladimir helped us get ferry tickets. The food is really good, cooked in the open kitchen next to restaurant bit. The best thing is the extremely friendly atmosphere and the very convenient location. We highly recommend this warm and welcoming place with a low price tag.

Great to place to stay in Hornopiren. The owner is delightful, and even with his limited English and our non existent Spanish we had a good chuckle about many things. The room was beautifully clean and tidy, spacious, with plentiful hot water in over bath shower (room 10) and nice view of the mountains. Bed was comfortable and location quiet. You can eat supper there between 7.30-10. Simple but nicely done with fish, meat options (CLP 7,500-10,000, rice or chips 2,200, salad 3,300). Breakfast your normal Chilean fare of cheese slices, salami, rolls, cake, juice, coffee between 8-10am. Just a few hundred metres from the ferry. Would definitely stay again.

This delightful hotel, operated by a charming couple, exceeded our expectations in every aspect. Their friendliness and extreme helpfulness added to the overall positive experience. The room was both clean and comfortable, with amenities more than adequate. The hotel's location is convenient for strolling into the quaint town and notably close to the ferry terminal. We opted to dine at the hotel, where the menu featured locally sourced and freshly prepared dishes, ranking among the best we enjoyed in Chile. The excellent value for money further enhanced our satisfaction.

The Hosteria Catalina is ideally located to get to the ferry port of Hornopiren and to spend the night before the ferry trip. The host is very friendly and helpful. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. The breakfast is simple but ok. The internet was stable but not very fast.
