“I Found Perfect Peace Here!”

I wanted peace and quiet. This place is perfect for that! There is a river right in front and walking paths leading into the Black Forest. The house is safe, peaceful and quiet. The host is very sweet!

Ursula is an exceptionnal lady. Even with language barrier, we still could communicate with humour. The breakfast was so generous, and the room was calm and well maintained. I will definitely come back another time !

Owner was confined to a wheelchair but managed with help to keep the hotel clean and spotless.The hotel was full of memorabilia that made the place friendly.The setting was like a fantasy land from a movie.Breakfast was set up as personal as possible.Highly recommend this hotel anytime.

This was one of nicest place that I stayed during a 10 day trip around Europe. The Gästehaus is located in a beautiful location near a river. The reception at the hotel is unique, the hostess (Ms. Ursula) gives us all the information about the city, the guest card, and lots of other interesting things to do around. She also writes down everything you like for the breakfast with is something really unique. Unfortunately I only stayed one night, because I was just traveling back to Frankfurt to catch my flight back home, but the experience to being so well received is something you won’t see anywhere else. The gästehaus itself deserves five starts, it’s so clean and neat. The breakfast was also amazing, with many different kinds of high quality food. This is a place you don’t get to see anymore, I hope Ms. Ursula can live for many years and keep running the business.

Very good location to explore the Black Forest. And is very close to France if you are interested to visit Strasbourg, Colmar, etc. The gastehaus is in a very picturesque location. Ursula and her staff was very friendly. The breakfast was really good, the room comfortable with everything you might need. We had a very pleasant stay!

The breakfast was excellent with many varieties, boiling eggs was kept warm. We all liked the atmosphere of the dinning room. The hostess does not speak English but she was very friendly and patient. We communicate via phone translator. Each of us also received a complimentary transportation day-pass ticket, which can be used for train, bus in the black forest.

Nice b&b in a silent neighborhood: nothing will disturb your sleep. The host is very welcoming and gave us a lot of info and brochures on the touristic surrounding area. Our room was nice and spotlessly clean and the balcony to enjoy the evening breeze was a great plus
