Young guy who checked me in was great, took me to my room, showed some of the important bits (shower switch etc), really good guy. Room was fab, food was maybe the weakest bit, I only had a burger but I thought it might be better, breakfast wasn't mentioned as an option. Price good for the room, I'd have gone for a more basic room with say breakfast included. Lovely place overall and some great staff.

The room is above a pub overlooking the main road in the village. There was some noise from the road during the day but it was quiet at night. The bed was comfy and the room was clean. We had breakfast at the tea room downstairs where the staff were also helpful. There was some noise from the pub dow stairs as you would expect but not really after 11pm. The village is nice with a local supermarket and quite a few cafes. Perfect location for walking around Edale Castleton stannage Edge and Ladybower
