Hotel Overview

De Keizerskroon is located in the heart of the historic centre of Hoorn. Set in an old town mansion, it featuresy rooms with private bathrooms and free Wi-Fi.
The rooms have got their own style, with basic furnishings and feature flat-screen TVs. There is also a suite with a private spa bath and seating area.
The, by the city of Hoorn, recently acquired museum ship ‘De Halve Maen’ is only 5 minutes away. This ship made its fame by exploring up the river Hudson during the Dutch golden age and it is an absolute must-see.
The restaurant downstairs is not part of the hotel. Of course, a buffet breakfast is served every morning in the restaurant and can be included in your reservation.

Excellant greeting from owner. Made us feel very welcome., played a tune of our request on her piano and then sung to us. Beautiful voice , made us feel very relaxed after our long journey..Unique hotel. As well as acommodation, sold antiques/paintings, but no pressure to purchase anything. The breakfast was a real highlight.. Everything possible for a continental breakfast was on your table, plus a daily egg special. Did not have to get up to get anything, all brought to your table. Would definately stay there again and recommend it highly. It was very popular, the small brekfast room was full every morning. (can see why)
