The fine print

Hong Kong will implement controls on disposable plastic items starting from April 22. Hotels and guesthouses are banned from providing disposable toiletries and in-room plastic-bottled water for free.
Hotels can provide disposable bottled water and other regulated plastic items, but they must provide them as separate charges and the charges must be listed separately on the bill. If necessary, travelers can pay to purchase their own toiletries from the hotel or bring their own.

- great location on Hongkong Island, but quiet during the night - very comfortable beds - well equipped (fridge, power sockets at the bed, free tea, coffee, water) - big room for Asian cities

We stayed in a Deluxe Twin Room, which was spacious and gave a good view over the city and the sea. The room was very cleaned, with towels changed daily, and the option for bedding changes on request. The shower was big, with free body wash, shampoo and conditioner provided. The room was very quiet, with no major outside noise. There was a kettle and a fridge in the room, with canned water provided daily. The hotel is right next to a subway exit, with a tram stop also nearby, making it very convenient to travel to the rest of Hong Kong.

Spacious toilet, sufficient space for 3 single beds, just beside Sai Ying Pun Exit A2, near to supermarket and some eateries. Walkable distance to the ferry terminal. Also, they truly live up to their eco name as they have many switches for respective lights such that there is sufficient control of lights and not 1 switch to control and manage all lights.

Location was amazing to train station and taxis etc. Walkable to night life and a very comfortable stay for me and my sister. We had the best time in hk and we will visit here again and recommend the eco tree to friends and family as well. There was also a fridge in the room which was defo needed in the heat!
