What a lovely place to stay. A great welcome with a drink whilst we waited for our room. The hosts were very accommodating and were able to share the history of the buildings and the area. The bedroom was modern and comfortable, with fabulous views over garden, pool and the estuary/beach. We stayed one night on the way to le Shuttle and it was pouring with rain but umbrellas were available and it was only a short 10 minute walk into the wonderful town of Hornfluer. The breakfast was amazing, you ordered the night before and it was cooked to order. So much food we didn't have time for the pancake course at breakfast, so they kindly wrapped them for us to take on our journey.Secure on site parking was helpful.

Lovely hosts and beautiful property! You get to stay at a house that used to be owned by a movie star. The house is beautifully decorated and the garden is very well managed. The heated pool is an extra bonus ;) The hosts welcomed us with delicious drinks and their hearty breakfast will allow you to enjoy the best of Normandy. We were also pleasantly surprised by how clean the property is and how meticulous the house keeping is. Staying here will make you love Honfleur even more.

The Location of New Cottage is very good with easily walkable access to Honfleur. Further being a gated property there is very safe and secure parking for your car. A large garden to relax in and lovely views over the sea. The breakfasts were freshly prepared and delivered to the table with lots of choice. Our hosts were very helpful and welcoming throughout our stay.

Perfect in every way. Eric was an amazing host. The breakfast was so monumental that we didn’t need to eat anything until dinner in the evening. The location is between the beach and the town. It really is wonderful. (Ask Eric about Checkhov’s dog).
