Lovely 2 night stay , on arrival we were given an upgrade to the garden apartment, which was fabulous. Really spacious, comfortable with everything one could need for a self catering stay. Spotlessly clean and comfortable bed and seating area. Our stay was on a B&B basis and had dinner in the pub on the second night only ( due to pub opening hours although Monique and Kit did offer to cook for us on the first night ) which was delicious, the welcoming vibe follows in all the spaces . The delicious breakfast was served in an upstairs room in a homely style, freshly cooked before our eyes! Kit and Monique are just the perfect hosts .. thank you x

We stayed in a fab apartment at the rear of the property, which was very well equipped, clean and comfortable. It would be lovely to stay again in the warmer months as there was a charming garden area with a pizza oven and bbq. We ate in the restaurant both nights which was relaxing. The food cooked by the lovely hosts Monique and Kit was fabulous! We especially loved the lamb tagine and the chocolate brownies! On both nights we sat beside the open fire which was very cosy and atmospheric with the Christmas lights twinkling, it was just perfect.

Remarkable place. Monique and Kit have made a real home from home. Their hospitality is first class, they are warm and friendly people indeed. The food is amazing, the bed almost too comfy to get out of and the peace and quiet was absolutely perfect (despite the storm) The bathroom is a little tight but the shower was perfect, so what more do you need? Everything about this place made our overnight stop so much more than just a 'pitstop' and we wouldn't hesitate to return. Thanks so much for starting our break off in perfect style Kit & Monique

Kit and Monique gave us the warmest welcome when we arrived after a nightmare journey. We were upgraded to their lovely ground-floor apartment which was wonderful for our three-night stay. A delicious dinner in friendly pub atmosphere, very comfortable accommodation and excellent breakfast made it a really great stay. We will definitely return when visiting family nearby.

What a fabulous place to stay. Kit and Monique looked after us so we'll. We stayed in the Garden apartment which is amazing, beautiful kitchen lounge, very spacious bedroom with comfy bed, it has a large separate bathroom with lovely walk in shower. We ate in their restaurant twice, on our first evening for our Anniversary meal, the food was excellent and we also had Sunday carvery as well which was also delicious. Kit cooked our breakfast both mornings both were veery nice and filling too. Overall one of the best two night stays we have ever had. We will definitely be staying again when we visit Devon and Cornwall again.
