Spotlessly clean.and very pleasant staff. Really good value for money. We also used the hotel restaurant and the food and service was excellent.

All the staff were exceptional, friendly, professional where nothing was a problem attitude. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The lunchtime + evening food was served freshly cooked and served within a very reasonable time. Breakfast was cooked fresh and to individual requirements via the in-house chef; the attitude was ‘what would you like’ which we appreciate as appetites vary and this, in turn, considerably reduces food waste.

Everything about the Pheasant was second to none... exceptionally Homely and friendly staff...Bedroom with en suite very clean and comfortable ..food fabulous..nothing was too much trouble ..we have already booked to stay again

The room was like brand new and very clean. The bathroom and shower were great! We booked at the restaurant for the evening meal and the food was perfect. It's a busy and popular place with locals it seems. The breakfast was excellent too. Overall, it was perfect.

Room perfect. Shower perfect. Tea/coffee with fresh milk and bottled water in a fridge. Bag of home made treats. Lovely food plenty of choice both evening and breakfast menu. Staff polite, helpful smiley and very friendly. Lots of nearby walks

This was perfect for our short stay, both location and all facilities. The food was excellent, my Game Pie in particular and the staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful. Our friend who joined us for the evening meal reckoned the fish was the best he had ever had, and he knows his fish ! It looked incredible
