The bungalow was down an alleyway but felt very safe and secure. There were two clean and spacious bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room and a lovely covered outdoor kitchen which was well-equipped with dining table, stove top, fridge and washing machine. Lots of small touches made our stay comfortable eg garden shower for when we came back from the beach. Aircon in the bungalow was good and there were fans in the kitchen / dining area. The location was great- two minutes to a beautiful sandy beach (we sat on the beach chairs at the end of the path, which were not charged if you ordered food or drinks) at one end of the alleyway, and a minute or two to a street of restaurants, shops, bakeries and small supermarkets at the other end of the alleyway. The hosts could not have been more helpful, providing us with q beach float and even taking a pair of shorts to a tailor to be mended for us. A problem with the air-conditioning was fixed immediately and the bungalow was cleaned each day while we were out. It was easy to order a Grab taxi to get into the centre of Hoi An, but there were plenty of restaurants near us which meant we didn't need to travel into the centre every day. At the start of our stay, our host ordered a taxi from Danang for us then met us from the taxi with the keys. Breakfast was not provided, but the host said she could organise this for us if we wanted. However, we walked to a nearby bakery each day to get our own pastries, baguettes etc. Grab Eats (similar to Uber Eats) also delivered food directly to the front gate of the bungalow from local restaurants on the nights when we did not want to go out.

We loved the privacy of a well equipped cottage. The bedroom and bathroom were inside with AC and everything else outside with ceiling fans. Very comfortable with big day beds. The tropical garden and outdoor shower were a great plus. Short walk to the beach and lots of restaurants nearby.
