I liked the quietness of the room we had - even though it was par of the overall backpackers it was separated and very easy to relax in. I liked the fact that the Pickled Frog was early always open and accessible. I liked th cleanliness of the room.

The location of the Pickled Frog was excellent as it was close to the shops, waterfront, piers and main locations of the Hobart CBD. This place has an iconic name which stands out but you will not find any actual pickled frogs here. The building is vintage with 2 floors and some beautiful artwork upstairs. I felt this place had strong positive vibes and the cost to stay there was reasonable.

Loved the atmosphere, the artwork everywhere. It's a big hostel so there's a lot of space and good vibes. Bed was fine, not amazing but comfy enough. The bathrooms were good, maybe a bit small for the amount of people. The staff were nice and there is a lot of information about Hobart around the place.

I loved the spacious bed room to myself. And the lounge room was a good size for all guests. There is reasonable space in the kitchen for multiple people to cook meals at the same time.

Ensuite room was basic but comfy enough for a night or two. Surprisingly quiet after dark. In room tea/coffee options were poor. I’d stay again!

Super nice vibe, the layout of the hostel led us to meet a lot of nice people. Installations were good.
