The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our room was upgraded FOC to be closer to my elderly parents who were also staying. The room was well presented and clean. A really enjoyable stay and will definitely be back.

The hotel is located about 15 minutes by car from the centre of Hobart, and the accommodation was relatively cheap. There was a bus stop nearby for buses into the city, so it was very convenient. The staff were quick and polite. I left something in my room, but they dealt with it quickly, and I'm grateful for that.

Always enjoy staying here, the staff are friendly and helpful, room was clean and tidy. Comfy bed, nice and quiet and in a good location. Parking on site. Excellent value for money.

The young woman at the reception was amazing and so friendly. She made my stay at the argyle easy. She made me feel very welcome and nothing was to much trouble.

The location of the lodge is conveniently close to city center, and we were able to walk to a lot of places.

The receptionist Jo was a lovely lady and a pleasure to deal with! From the moment i arrived she was super friendly, helpful and with such a happy positive attitude. Jo made my stay the best! If i owned a motel i would want to get Jo as my receptionist. And give her a pay rise! She should be on $100 an hour

Ideal location, large rooms with lots of space. Large bathroom and a shower that you don't have to squeeze into. Large kitchen area fully appointed.
