The sink in my room didn't drain properly. Leaving residue after washing hands, shaving, cleaning teeth etc. Carpet in room didn't appear to have been vacuumed before and during stay. Downstairs restaurant and lounge area very comfortable and inviting. Staff in restaurants and bar were excellent. Breakfast in general was good. However the hot food selection was a little disappointing compared to previous stays. Ordered a burger and chips from the bar to take back to my room. Didn't realise at the time but the burger was semi raw inside which caused stomach upset for next few days (see photo) spoiling my trip somewhat.

We only had a one-night stay and the room was ideal for that. The hotel was in the centre of town, so it was easy to walk to hire car locations. Breakfast was nice too and staff pleasant.

Great location for restaurants, cafe’s and shops and walk to dock area. Friendly staff throughout. Great King Room, very comfortable bed, very clean and well serviced every day. Lounge area very relaxing with Cascade bar access for snacks and drinks. Skybus stop outside hotel if use that service.

We really liked the room. The shutters on the windows were excellent, and the ability to open the window and have fresh air was perfect for a good night's sleep. The bathroom was great and everything was clean and fresh.

Location was perfect for my needs and the added parking was excellent. the room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good but the coffee - well we went to the cafe across the road for that.

The location was central and excellent. Close to everything. The hotel had a lovely ambience, quiet, clean and welcoming. The room felt large and luxurious.

The Bed was excellent and room size was fine; no magical view to speak of; the location was good (5 minutes to the Harbour); the Gym was excellent (one of the best in my 40 years' hotel experience) lots of weight machines, ERG's and bikes although a treadmill would have been welcome; the Breakfast Continental option at $21 was exceptionally good value; the fireside lounge was wonderful;
