Location and history. Clean and well presented, whilst keeping a period feel. The room was comfortable and quiet. The bar was pleasant and the staff were friendly and helpful

I know its an historical significant hotel in Tasmania, with staff saying all the right things but, while reading a book in bed the bedside table lamp started to crackle and literally burn, having been in the Electrical Industry all of my life, I correctly isolated the offending lamp, removed it from the B22 socket and reported it to the Desk clerk the following morning asking him to smell the burn electronics in the LED Lamp. All he was interested in was to stick it under the table. The lamp was not replaced during the following day and I was never contacted for any sort of follow up. Very disappointed, as a previous stay at the hotel we all were evacuated to the street by the Church following a fire alarm due to an electrical problem. So I guess I will not be staying at the Hadley again!!!!

I disliked having the shower in the bath. Unfortunately I lost traction and fell in the bath. I had a badly bruised ankle and some other minor bruises but fortunately no fracture.

Lovely staff! Very friendly and welcoming! The room was clean and comfortable. The high tea and breakfast were divine. Great location for accessing Hobart attractions.

Hadley's old charm and rich history made for a memorable stay. The room size was spacious and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was superb, offering a great variety of choices. The bar area has a wonderful atmosphere.

The location was perfect especially when one is only there for a few days and didn’t hire a car ,easy to walk around the city and get to destinations .The hotel was decked out superbly ,very historic and classical and staff were friendly and helpful .I have recommended this hotel to all my friends and family for its history ,location and Exquisite decor .Thank you
