The owners were friendly. There was a small misunderstanding at check-in but they quickly sorted it out. Guests are given a key fob for opening the front door to the guesthouse, so the entire place felt very safe and secure. Our room (#302) was very clean and bright. This room included a private balcony overlooking the alley below and large windows. There were also curtains on the windows for privacy. Bed sheets, duvet and towels were crisp, fresh and clean-smelling. The mattress was too firm for her but not a problem at all for me. Room cleaning was provided daily. The room also featured a large wardrobe with clothes hangers, refrigerator, large desk and a chair. The air conditioner was quiet and it worked perfectly. Trash can was provided in the room. Flats screen TV included as well as very reliable wi-fi. Both upload and download speeds for the internet were blazing-fast! We were very concerned about the noise level, especially as Mai Guest House is so close to Saigon's beer boulevard. The buildings surrounding the guest house block the noise coming from the party-goers - even over the Christmas season we could barely hear any music from the crazy party zone. The guest house is very well-located about a 30-second walk from the action, but it somehow feels and sounds miles away. The bathroom was also very clean and bright with a window. Plenty of hot water throughout the day and night. The mirror lights up to three brightness levels just by touching it.

I spent one night here. The accommodation was clean, the air conditioning worked, the room only had a skylight, but it was quiet. Little fridge included. There are many restaurants and a Futa bus office a few steps from the accommodation. The owner was nice and helpful.

The location is right on top of everything, you couldn't hear the noise from walking street which is very loud.
